JEFFREY P. CLARK, D.C., C.C.W.P, Chiropractor

Jeffrey P. Clark, D.C., C.C.W.P., is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Lake Stevens community. He has been in active clinical practice in Washington State since 1991.

Dr. Clark is a Chiropractor, Wellness Practitioner, Health Coach, Businessman, Entrepreneur, Reiki Master, Author, Artist, and Philosopher.

Dr. Clark has been freeing people from pain while promoting health and wellness at Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center in Lake Stevens, WA. As a Chiropractor with nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Clark is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.

Dr. Clark uses a “whole person approach”. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time), and making whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Clark is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Dr. Clark received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, in 1991. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. Dr. Clark enjoys learning new chiropractic techniques and scientific discoveries and therefore attends numerous Post-Graduate training every year. He has mastered numerous chiropractic techniques utilizing manual adjusting, light force and instrument adjusting, as well as adjustments for the extremities, and also cranial (skull bones) adjusting.

Dr. Clark is a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association, the International Chiropractor’s Association, The ICA Council on Wellness Science, The Brain Injury Association of Washington and the American Nutraceutical Association.

In 2007, Dr. Clark earned a Post-Graduate certification in Wellness Science from the International Chiropractor’s Association Council on Wellness Science. This makes him a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner (C.C.W.P.). He lives by the credo “Be Fit, Eat Right, Think Well, Get Adjusted” which ties in exercise, nutrition, positive mental attitude with regular chiropractic care.

He also has a certification in Automobile Collision Injuries from 2005 and is a specialist in treating automobile accident injuries. In 2018 he completed extensive training to become certified in Whiplash Injury Biomechanics & Traumatology.

Dr. Clark is a former two-term President of the East King County Chiropractic Association from 1996-1998. In 1997, he was one of only 21 chiropractors from across the country to serve on a goodwill mission to northern Panama, where he personally adjusted thousands of people.

Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center offers a variety of wellness services. These include not only chiropractic care, but also massage therapy, nutritional counseling and products, and detoxification. Massage Therapy is provided by Ashley Tice, LMT, Becky Dunham, LMT, Trisha Ayers, LMT, Jahja Djajaputra, LMT, Suthida Belan, LMT, and the Director of Massage Therapy Stasha Howarth-Clark, LMT. All are graduates of the Spectrum Center School of Massage, in Lake Stevens, Washington, where Dr. Clark serves on the Board of Directors.

Dr. Clark is married to Stasha Howarth-Clark, a licensed massage practitioner. Stasha is the Director of Massage Therapy at Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center. He has a daughter, Brenna, a son-in-law Aaron, and is a proud Poppy to Aurora and Calliope.

When not serving his patients, Dr. Clark enjoys photography, painting, reading, and hiking. Dr. Clark and wife Stasha are proud parents of the MPCWC mascot, Lola, a French Bulldog. Most days you will find Lola meandering through the rooms at MPCWC saying “Hi” to anyone and everyone. She loves to take naps under the massage tables.

STASHA HOWARTH-CLARK, LMT, SRT, Director of Massage Therapy

Stasha Howarth-Clark, LMT, SRT is the Director of Massage Therapy for Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center. Stasha has always had a passion to help those in need. She has been actively practicing massage therapy since 2004. Stasha takes personal responsibility for training all of our new therapists.

Stasha is well versed in a number of therapeutic massage modalities, including Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy. She has devoted hundreds of hours to advanced massage education, and is a Certified Practitioner of Structural Relief Therapy (SRT). Her latest continuing education is in Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST). She is in her third year of advanced studies in this modality.

Stasha is also passionate about aromatherapy and essential oils. She has trained and become certified to offer Raindrop Technique Essential Oil massages.

An avid reader, Stasha also enjoys collecting cookbooks, cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, making beautiful cards, making and listening to music, and being outdoors in the great Northwest.

ASHLEY TICE, LMT, Massage Therapist

In her senior year of high school, Ashley decided to become a massage therapist. She chose this path because she loves creating a positive outlook for people in their lives, their bodies, and their health. Ashley feels massage is great for creating that experience.

Ashley absolutely loves clinical/therapeutic work, specializes in deep tissue and trigger point therapy. She is certified and specializes in therapeutic Cupping. Ashley is also trained and certified to perform Raindrop Technique Massages, working with essential oils.

Ashley loves to help you rehabilitate from injuries, but if someone just wants to come in and relax, she is well versed in Swedish Relaxation Massage, as well.

During her time off from massaging, you will most likely find Ashley outdoors with her husband Nick and son Bennett. She loves camping, wheeling, hiking, playing sports, going to the sand dunes or simply enjoying a BBQ in the backyard.

TRISHA AYERS, LMT, Massage Therapist

Trisha offers massage therapy to clients on weekends while working as a Medical Assistant in the Obstetrics unit of the hospital. Because of her medical background, Trisha brings a specialized knowledge of human health and healing. She also deeply understands how our emotions can impact our overall health and wellbeing.

Trisha studied at the Spectrum Center School of Massage where she learned and mastered a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point and Swedish massage.

When not working, Trisha loves cheering on the Seahawks. She spends lots of her free time with her daughter and granddaughter.

JAHJA DJAJAPUTRA, LMT, Massage Therapist

Jajha comes to us from Indonesia where he was a medical doctor for 25 years. His knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and the other biological sciences makes him stand out in his field as a massage therapist.

After coming to America with his family, Jahja trained at the Spectrum Center School of Massage, where he naturally excelled in all curriculums.

Jahja is eager to keep learning new and different ways of helping people lead active and healthy lives.

When not performing massage @MPCWC, Jahja enjoys exploring his new surroundings along with his wife and two daughters.

LEAH PAGE – Scheduling Coordinator

Leah Page spent much of her adult life working in early childhood education. Her personal quest for improved health and wellness led her to Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center for care after an accident. As we grew and expanded, we realized that Leah would be a valuable asset to our team…and she is!

Leah is our Scheduling Coordinator. When you call on the phone or enter our office, you will most likely be greeted by Leah’s warm, friendly and caring personality.

Leah enjoys spending time with family, personal fitness, crafting, camping and a good suspense novel.

AMY FAUVER, Billing Specialist

Amy Fauver joined our team in 2021 as one of our Billing Specialists.

Amy possesses a “can do” attitude which is perfect for following up with insurance companies on our patient’s behalf.

When not at MPCWC, Amy is active in many social groups and is a devoted mother to her three children. She also enjoys anything involving music, personal fitness, and being of service to others.

Amy states, “I love serving and giving!”


Jazmine’s passion for health studies, natural health care and naturopathic medicine grew tremendously from her journey of being an avid yoga practitioner and certified yoga instructor.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from the University of Washington. Jazmine achieved a Certification in Personal Training and Fitness Nutrition Specialization through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) as well as a Certification in Health and Nutrition Coaching through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is currently studying for her Masters Degree in Applied Nutrition (anticipated graduation Spring 2021 through New England University).

Jazmine’s deepest passion lies in educating and inspiring others on how to create healthy and balanced lifestyles. It is her mission to provide the education and resources necessary to promote holistic healing and health at both individual and communal levels.

When not assisting others on their own wellness journey, Jazmine can be found expressing a true zest for adventure with her husband Michael and son Phin.

LOLA CLARK, Office Mascot 2011-2021

Lola Clark dedicated her entire life as the official mascot of Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center. Lola was a French Bulldog and was born October 13, 2011. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 28, 2021. As she got older, she napped more, and could often be found snoozing under a massage table.

When not greeting our patients (who she believed came in only to see her), Lola enjoyed ripping the stuffing out of her toys, laying in the sunshine, and traveling with mommy & daddy just about every place they went.
